Puzzles, Logic Problems margin:0px !important;” /> Recognition and appreciation are more valued than a pay increase according to the study and that’s because they are two of our most basic human needs. Printable brain teasers used as incentives to help boost morale and extend employee recognition are keeping the workforce spirits high.
Employers and teachers alike are finding that work is improving overall. Without realizing it, the employees and students are improving and challenging their minds. In other words, they are giving their brains a workout using printable brain teasers, where they are required to think in a more creative way than what conventional thinking requires of them. And this in turn is increasing their cognitive skills to better perform in business and in school.
How I Stumbled Upon This
Recently, I decided it was about time I learn to use google analytics to find which keywords were most frequently being used to search my hub that I wrote over a year ago (Give your Brain a Workout with Some Fun Brain Teasers) and that traffic is still flowing through quite nicely.
I noticed that the keyword printables kept appearing over and over, sometimes combined with other words such as brain teasers, brain busters, brain boosters and even printable mind puzzles and such.
After researching, I began to understand why printable brain teasers were so sought after. They were not only being used to challenge the mind in business and schools but were also being used by parents for teaching cognitive skills to their children. When taught in their youth, kids would become more creative in their thinking. They were also able to solve problems when up against difficult life situations because of their higher advancement in intelligence.
These same parents were using printable brain teasers to help themselves, to help their brain from becoming monotonous and to boost the capacity and duration of their memories. Have you ever forgot where you parked your car, left your keys, or wonder what you went in the next room for? Of course you have! We all tend to get more rigid in our thinking as we grow older.

KCC, The stereograms are my favorites. When I was in grade school I would spend time at the school library looking at stereograms instead of my homework and I have been addicted to them ever since. I’m glad you liked this hub and thanks KCC, thanks KCC, thanks KCC…LOL

Thanks for this hub, these brain teasers are going to keep me busy for a long time to come. And with an aging population, it is really important to keep your mind as active as possible. Whenever I see people over 100 being interviewed and asked what their secret is, invariably they will say that they have kept their mind occupied and never stopped learning.
Oops….double submission. Just another chance to say go Dottie, go Dottie, go Dottie….LOL

What a great hub! I remember when the stereogram posters came out and I had the toughest time ‘seeing’ them. Then suddenly one day, I could see them and now it’s a piece of cake. I had my doubts about seeing the one above on my computer screen, but I did. That’s awesome!
Thanks k@ri, I really appreciate your comment. Glad you found this hub useful.
